Mobile Arts Program (MAP)
We have seen first-hand how life-changing the arts can be, and yet many in our communities have limited access to participate due to a variety of social, economic and physical factors. Since 2017, we have been partnering with area social service organizations to provide workshops in art, music and other creative opportunities, free of charge and often where the individuals are being served.
Some of our partners and programs include:
- Monthly art at The Path Center (Homeless Shelter and Social Services)
- Twice monthly music and movement at Fairlawn Haven Communities
- Monthly Art Nights with area veterans
- Monthly art and twice monthly music and movement at Community Health Professionals Adult Day Care.
- Art for Adriel Foster Care
- Free Monthly art afternoons – “Artie Parties”
- Fayette Summer Enrichment program
- Other programs by request
Under the direction of our Board President Diane Tinsman, MSW, and a wonderful group of art instructors and volunteers, we are excited to offer this program.
